Maja Umićević — Face of Serbian Teqball

Maja Umićević (27) from Senta is Serbia's best teqball player. Silver medalist at the 2023 European Games in Krakow, student of Serbian language and literature, she started playing teqball in 2019 with her partner Nikola Mitro. At her first World Championship they won bronze, and today she holds #28 on the world ranking list.

"Football was my first love, but teqball became my sport. The attitude towards women in teqball is probably more equal than in any other sport."
